The boiler generates steam required for Extraction, Evaporation, Spray drying, and Agglomeration processes. Feed water is treated boiler-feed-quality water supplied from the RO plant. Steam pressure and temperature are controlled as per process demand. Condensate is recovered and reused to improve energy efficiency. The boiler house includes fuel handling, feed water pumps, economizer, chimney, and safety systems.
The RO plant treats raw water to produce high-quality process and boiler feed water. Pre-treatment includes multimedia filtration, activated carbon filtration, and dosing systems. The RO system removes dissolved salts, hardness, and impurities. Permeate water is used for extraction, boiler feed, and process needs, while reject water is routed to ETP or utility reuse.
The advanced ETP treats liquid effluents generated from extraction, evaporation, CIP operations, and utilities. Treatment stages include screening, equalization, biological treatment, tertiary filtration, and sludge handling. The system is designed to meet statutory discharge norms, with provisions for water recycling and zero-liquid-discharge (ZLD) if required
The electrical system includes HT/LT panels, transformers, MCCs, and power distribution networks for the entire plant. DG sets provide backup power during grid failure to ensure the uninterrupted operation of critical equipment. Load management systems prioritize essential process and utility operations
The UPS system supplies uninterrupted power to critical control systems such as PLCs, DCS, instrumentation, laboratory equipment, and IT systems. The UPS ensures safe plant operation, data integrity, and controlled shutdown during power disturbances
Cooling towers provide cooling water for process heat exchangers, condensers, chillers, and utility equipment. Warm return water is cooled through evaporation and recirculated. Chemical dosing systems control scaling, corrosion, and biological growth to ensure reliable operation
Chillers supply chilled water for aroma recovery systems, process cooling, HVAC for laboratories, control rooms, and packing areas. The system is designed to maintain stable temperatures essential for product quality and equipment performance
Spent coffee grounds from the extraction process are dewatered using a screw press to reduce moisture content. Pressed liquid is returned to the ETP, while dewatered spent coffee solids are conveyed to the spent dryer or disposal area
The spent coffee dryer further reduces the moisture content of pressed coffee grounds. Dried spent coffee can be used as boiler fuel, soil conditioner, or disposed of safely, minimizing waste and improving overall plant sustainability
The LPG bullet storage system stores liquefied petroleum gas used for roasting, heating, or auxiliary process requirements. The Sumo gas system regulates pressure and flow before distribution to consumption points. Safety systems include gas detectors, pressure relief valves, flame arrestors, and emergency shut-off valves.
